Awesome Selena Gomez Concert Photos

Selena Gomez' fans go crazy for her concerts. Check out some of the best pictures from her live performances.

Selena Gomez has a flair for the dramatic when she puts on a show. She's previously said she was initially inspired to start acting after hanging out with her mother, a theater actor, before she went onstage.

Selena Gomez released her first album with The Scene in 2009 at 17 years old. At that point, it was already a long time in the making. Selena got her start in show business at age 7, playing a little girl named Gianna on Barney & Friends.

Teresa Palmer in Emilio Pucci

She may be a newcomer, but Teresa Palmer nailed it at last night's premiere of I Am Number Four. The actress opted for a sizzling Emilio Pucci dress with a sultry thigh-high slit and dramatic lace-up open back.

Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler Pair Up at 'Just Go with It' NY Premiere

When "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never" was premiered in Los Angeles on February 8, Columbia Pictures took it to Ziegfeld Theater in New
York City to promote "Just Go with It" on the same day. Relying on the support from the cast ensemble, the event saw the appearances of Jennifer Aniston, Adam Sandler, Nicole Kidman, Brooklyn Decker, Dave Matthews and Kevin Nealon among others.

Playing working partners in the film, Aniston who showed some skin with a black Dolce & Gabbana dress and Sandler who went formal in his suit embraced each other on the blue carpet. The female lead was additionally seen getting close with child stars Bailee Madison and Griffin Gluck who portrayed her children in the romantic comedy.

Kidman was accompanied by singer husband Keith Urban to the premiere. Director Dennis Dugan also showed up that night, tagging along spouse Sharon O'Connor. Molly Sims, Aleksa Palladino, Andy Samberg and Grace Hightower meanwhile were among the celebrity guests that night.

"Just Go with It" revolves around plastic surgeon Danny who enlists help from his trusty assistant/receptionist to pretend as his soon-to-be ex-wife after lying about his marital status to a woman of his dreams. When the plan starts to backfire, everyone heads off to Hawaii for a weekend that will change the course of their lives. The movie will open wide in the U.S. on February 11.

Lindsay Lohan Reportedly Up for 'Superman' Role

After losing her role in "Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story", Lindsay Lohan might be struggling to land another job. Rumor has it, she is eying a role in upcoming Superman movie to be directed by Zack Snyder and is supposed to meet with the filmmakers soon.

According to TMZ, Lohan's representatives "have had multiple phone
conversations within the last few weeks with the people behind" the project tentatively called "The Man of Steel". While she is not in the running for the role of Lois Lane, Lohan is said up to play a "major character."

Sources tells the site that the 24-year-old actress/singer is "dying to show people again how talented she is." She is allegedly worried that her latest run-in with the law, in which she is accused of stealing a necklace, could ruin her chance to nab the role.

While there is still no denial from Lohan's or Warners' camp, some believe that her casting will never happen. The "Georgia Rule" babe was previously said eying the role of Mary Jane in untitled Spider-Man reboot, but she ended up not becoming part of the film.

The new Superman movie has tapped Henry Cavill to portray Clark Kent. No actress is cast for the role of Lois Lane yet although some names have been mentioned in the contention. Filming for the superhero flick is expected to start this June for possible December 2012 release schedule.

Dakota Fanning Cast as Queen Elizabeth's Sister

Dakota Fanning is in talks to play The Queen's late sister Princess Margaret in a new period piece drama "Girls Night Out". The "Twilight" star will play the royal in a new film about a fictional night when teenagers Margaret and Elizabeth were set free from the confines of Buckingham Palace at the end of World War Two.

"The Last Station" director Michael Hoffman will take charge of the film while Trevor De Silva provides the script. Hoffman is currently putting the finishing touches to the Colin Firth and Cameron Diaz starrer "Gambit".

Casting has begun for Elizabeth, according to Daily Variety. The project is due to be introduced to buyers at this year's European Film Market.

Selena Gomez's Next Movie to Reveal '13 Reasons Why' She 'Kills' Herself

Universal Pictures and Strike Entertainment have picked up rights to make a movie based on Jay Asher novel "13 Reasons Why". The project is developed as a starring vehicle for Selena Gomez, Deadline Hollywood reports.

The book tells a story of a shy California high school student, Clay Jensen, who returns from school to find a box waiting on his doorstep. It contains seven cassette tapes recorded by Hanna Baker, the classmate he had a crush on.

Before she committed suicide, Hannah sent the tapes to one classmate with instructions to pass them on to a list of students like a chain letter. The tapes explain to 13 people how they played a role in her death. Clay is one of them. If he listens, he'll find out how he made the list.

Gomez will be seen playing Baker who appears throughout the film in post-mortem flashbacks. There is still no word on who will portray the other lead role, Jensen. Jennifer O'Kieffe is on board to write the script, but no director has been booked for the drama mystery film project.

Selena Gomez's latest big screen appearance was in "Ramona and Beezus" which was released last year. The "Wizards of Waverly Place" cutie will next be seen in "Monte Carlo" in which she stars alongside Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy.

Olivia Wilde Ends Her Marriage to Italian Prince

Actress Olivia Wilde has split from her husband, Italian prince Tao Ruspoli, after eight years of marriage. The "Tron: Legacy" beauty eloped with guitarist Ruspoli in 2003, when she was just 19.

A representative for the actress has confirmed to People.com the couple has now parted ways. A source tells the website, "They have been living apart after trying for quite some time to make their relationship work."

Ruspoli's family own the famous Palazzo Ruspoli in Rome. Just last year, Wilde confessed that being married to a European royal wasn't all romance and chivalry - after visiting his family's 14th century castle.

She told Playboy magazine she initially loved the idea of living in a fairytale fortress - until she started snooping around. She explained, "There are dungeons in the basement where they used to torture people. There's a table down there that, when they sanded it, still had blood stains from hundreds of years ago."

Justin Bieber Mocked by MAD Mag: Stupid, Dumb, Terrible & Awful

Justin Bieber might have achieved almost unprecedented things at such a young age; ranging from winning top honor at last year's American Music Awards, scoring one of the biggest-selling albums, receiving multiple nominations at Grammy Awards and sharing screen with Ozzy Osbourne on Super Bowl ad. But it doesn't make him immune to being the target of mocking.

The 16-year-old Canadian singer is currently dissed on the latest issue of MAD Magazine. Alfred E. Neuman, the cartoon boy of the printed publication, sports Bieber's signature hair and purple hoodie on its cover while wearing goofy grin on his face. The picture might not be enough to drive Beliebers mad, but the headline certainly

is. "HIS STUPID HAIR! HIS DUMB BOOK! HIS TERRIBLE MOVIE! HIS AWFUL MUSIC!" so it was printed on the front page.

Since Bieber has strong fanbase, the magazine most likely will receive backlash for daring to make fun of the teen idol, but its editor John Ficarra is prepared for that. "Every time we put one of these young teen stars on the covers - this goes back to New Kids On The Block - we do get a ton of mail from prepubescent girls," he said. "The weird thing is I happened to be looking through old issues and we did a piece on Elvis [Presley], too."

Regarding reaction from the "Baby" hitmaker himself, Ficarra responded with a joke, "He'll hate it and buy every copy and it will be a sellout." He continued, "Or, conversely, Bieber won't even notice and we'll probably sell three copies of the issue." As of press time, his camp hasn't given any response when asked about the spoof.

"That was probably the highlight of his career and being on the cover of MAD is the lowlight," Ficarra told Canadian Press. Or we can just say it proves that Justin Bieber, who is currently promoting his biopic movie "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never", is all over the place.

Melissa Leo Defends Saucy 'For Your Consideration' Oscar Ad

Actress Melissa Leo has defended posing for a provocative photograph to rally for Oscars votes, insisting the "awards process" is about "pimping yourself out". The star is nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the upcoming ceremony, and is facing competition from her "The Fighter" co-star Amy Adams, Helena Bonham Carter (The King's Speech), Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit) and Jacki Weaver (Animal Kingdom).

Leo donned a tight low-cut black dress to pose for a sexy promo shot, which ran in a number of Hollywood trade magazines and online with the tagline 'Consider' in a bid to gain votes ahead of the prizegiving. She came under fire for the saucy photo, but the star has

defended her decision to flaunt herself for the Oscar.

Leo tells the New York Times, "This entire awards process to some degree is about pimping yourself out. I'm confident my fans will understand the ads were about showing a different side of myself." Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, she adds, "The race, all this is sorta unfamiliar to me. But it might mean more work, so that's interesting. The Oscars - it's this illustrious group, a jury of my peers. It's also a marketing (thing). It's show business."

"I didn't ask that this opportunity for more come to me. I've just done what I've done. I think I'm finding out why I watch those competitive cooking shows, 'cause people aren't on about who they are or how they're dressed. It's about what they're doing."

Rihanna's Sexy Pics Were From Her Book

Rihanna has denied sexy snaps of her posing in racy underwear were leaked by a former lover - explaining she published the images herself in an official photobook released last year. Gossip website MediaTakeOut.com has obtained two raunchy shots of the Bajan beauty reportedly snapped for an unnamed sportsman lover in 2009 following her split from singer Chris Brown.

One photo shows the "Umbrella" hitmaker wearing just a pair of lace panties as she captures her semi-naked form in the mirror, holding her arms up to cover her breasts. But Rihanna has blasted speculation the snap was for a lover, insisting the picture was taken
at a professional fitting and had been printed in 2010 coffee table book "Rated R".

She writes on her Twitter.com page, "If you pay attention, that is a professional behind the scenes photo ALREADY published in my book! In a fitting for Rated R!"

David Beckham Reacts: 'My Boys Aren't on Facebook'

Soccer ace David Beckham has warned his fans not to be fooled by Facebook.com profiles apparently created by his young sons - because he keeps his children away from social networking. The sportsman and his wife Victoria Adams are parents to Brooklyn, 11, eight-year-old Romeo and Cruz, five.

On line profiles of the boys have appeared on networking websites, but Beckham has spoken out to reveal they are all fakes.

In a post on his Facebook page, he writes, "Just a quick note to warn everyone.
There are a lot of fake Facebook accounts out there. My boys aren't on Facebook, but there are many fake accounts in their names. These profiles are nothing to do with us, please stay away from them. Thanks guys."

Justin Bieber Gets No Boo Guarantee From Harlem Globetrotters

Justin Bieber could soon be sitting courtside with the Harlem Globetrotters - he's been invited to join the legendary basketball team at their exhibition games. The "Baby" hitmaker has previously proved unpopular with sports fans - he was booed by spectators when he attended a New York Knicks match at Madison Square Garden in the Big Apple earlier this month.

However, rival team the Harlem Globetrotters have now stepped in to offer the teenager the chance to become a Junior Globetrotter and sit on the bench during their games, as well as meet the basketball stars. Bosses have also asked Bieber to sing the U.S.
national anthem when the Globetrotters visit Madison Square Garden later this month on February 18-19, according to the New York Daily News.

A spokesman tells the publication, "(Our fans) certainly will not boo him."

Katy Perry Used to Hate Her Enormous Boobs

Katy Perry longed for smaller breasts when she was a teenager - because cruel classmates taunted her for her busty figure. The "I Kissed a Girl" hitmaker admits she hated her "enormous" chest when she was young and dreamed of having a stick-thin physique like supermodel Kate Moss.

She even resorted to wearing minimizer bras in a bid to reduce her appearance
- but now insists she's happy with her cup size because her curves "come in handy".

Perry tells Elle magazine, "When I was a kid... I had enormous boobs that I didn't know what to do with. I wore minimizers, which were not cute. Those thick-a** straps! I got made fun of for the over-the-shoulder boulder holder... All I wanted was to look like Kate Moss. Little did I know... that these things would come in handy someday."

Little Darth Vader Meets the Original 'Star Wars' Star

Max Page, the little boy who becomes the latest overnight sensation, thanks to Volkswagen, met the original Darth Vader on Monday, February 7 night in New York City. Max is now known as Little Darth Vader after the car company's 30-second ad was voted the best Super Bowl spot this year.

Max took some photos with James Earl Jones after he and his family attended
James' Broadway show "Driving Miss Daisy" at the Golden Theater. The actor also granted him an autographed helmet. Jones was the legendary voice of the "Star Wars" character for years, starting the 1977's "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope".

Earlier on the day, Max and his mother Jennifer Page came to "Today" to reveal his face. "It actually wasn't until halfway through the first day of filming that we even knew it was a Super Bowl commercial," Jennifer said. "I was like, 'Whoa, this is out of this world!' "

Max was not only a pretty face, he is also a heart defect survivor. He has Tetralogy of Fallot, which is a syndrome that includes four major features, including a "hole in the heart", a thickened muscular heart wall and issues with the 2 blood vessels that lead away from the heart. He went through surgery at the age of 3 months.

Ashley Greene and Joe Jonas Enjoy Cooking Together

Actress Ashley Greene is learning to become a culinary queen after her pop star boyfriend Joe Jonas introduced her to the joys of cooking. The "Twilight" star began dating Jonas last summer and she admits they love nothing more than to cook up treats in the kitchen of her Los Angeles apartment.

She tells Teen Vogue, "I've got this amazing kitchen, and he's getting me into it (cooking). It's really nice and almost therapeutic; we put on music and just kind of go into this zone."

Also in the same interview, Ashley Greene says she is refusing to let jealous fans
of her boyfriend Joe Jonas scare her off dating the singer, because she's had to deal with negativity from the beginning of her career. The actress, 23, has become a target for fans of the Jonas Brothers star, 21, since meeting him through mutual pals in London last summer.

They've spoken openly about their relationship in recent months and Greene insists she isn't intimidated by Jonas' more overzealous devotees, because she's learned how to handle critics over the years. She tells Teen Vogue, "There's always going to be anti in this industry. But the thing is, I have dealt with anti before our relationship, and I will always have to deal with it. There will always be people who love me or hate me. That's why I try to focus on the positive."

And Greene admits she's happy with how their romance is unfolding as they juggle their busy careers. She says, "We have a traveling relationship... We've already met each other's parents, which I think is a good result of the kind of lifestyle we live. He's sweet and really funny, which is huge for me."

Lindsay Lohan to Be Charged on Wednesday, Sued Over Tanning Bill

Los Angeles County district attorney's officials have confirmed they'll be charging actress Lindsay Lohan with one count of felony grand theft on suspicion of stealing a $2,500 necklace on Wednesday, February 9. Weekend reports suggested the "Mean Girls" star would be charged on Monday, February 7, but that date was pushed back.
The owner of a Venice, California store has accused Lohan of stealing the "one of a kind necklace" last month. An associate of the actress handed over the alleged stolen item to police as the authorities were preparing to raid the star's home last week.

Lohan, 24, is currently on supervised probation for a drunk driving conviction and if the judge overseeing her case rules she violated her probation by taking the necklace, the actress faces 180 days in jail. Lohan maintains the jewelery item was loaned to her.

Her legal woes continue to mount with a lawsuit over an alleged unpaid tanning bill. Tanning Vegas owner Lorit Simon claims she spray-tanned the troubled actress from 2007 to 2009, but has not yet been paid for her services.

Simon is demanding Lohan settle the $41,031 debt, as well as pay for her legal fees and interest, according to a lawsuit filed in Nevada last week and obtained by TMZ.com. It's not the first time Simon has gone head-to-head with her former client - she sued the 24-year-old star in 2009, accusing her of stealing the formula for her tanning spray and selling it under her Sevin Nyne label.

Justin Bieber Thanks Will Smith for Guiding His Movie Career

Justin Bieber has credited Will Smith with guiding his movie career, revealing the "Men in Black" star is helping him find his next big screen project. The Canadian sensation's tour documentary "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never" hits theaters this month, but the "Baby" hitmaker admits he's ready to show off his acting skills in a feature film.

And the 16 year old has found a mentor in Smith. Bieber tells Access Hollywood, "The Smith family's been really amazing to me and really supportive in everything I'm doing. Their
family's just really nice and really good people."

"He's definitely looking at different scripts for me and trying to develop stuff... I would definitely love to get more into acting and explore that area. I just want to be an all around entertainer and... be the ultimate entertainer, whether that's singing, acting, dancing or performing."

Recent reports suggested Bieber had already signed a movie deal with Smith's production company Overbrook, but the singer insists there are no official plans in the works, adding: "No, not at the moment. We're just kind of looking at stuff."

Video Premiere: Justin Bieber's 'Never Say Never' From His 3D Movie

An alternate version of Justin Bieber's "Never Say Never" music video has been debuted. Filled with montage from his upcoming 3D movie of the same name, the clip features the Canadian singer on stage, backstage and during the break of his hectic schedule. His younger years are included in brief footage as well.

Before used as a soundtrack for his own movie, "Never Say Never" which
features child actor Jaden Smith is featured in film "The Karate Kid". Now, it is reportedly set to be released as the lead single from soundtrack album of the Jon Chu-directed flick. The CD will be made available for purchase across United States on February 14.

"Justin Bieber: Never Say Never" itself will hit theaters in the country three days earlier, February 11. It will be sprinkled with performances from his "My World" tour. His mentor Usher, fellow young singer Willow Smith and some other stars like Sean Kingston are set to make cameos.

At the Grammy Awards on February 13, Bieber allegedly will sing "Never Say Never" with Jaden and Usher. "I am going to [perform and] I'm gonna have some surprises there," he said to MTV. "We got some other performers that are going to be there with me, Jaden and Usher, so I'm really excited about it. Jaden's cool. He's gonna kick it. He's gonna kill it. I'm excited."

Britney Spears Reveals Teaser No. 4 for 'Hold It Against Me' Video

Britney Spears continues giving away sneak peek to her forthcoming "Hold It Against Me" music video. This new teaser is short like the previously-released snippets, but gives fresh footage of the clip. Wearing shorts and knee-length boots, the "Womanizer" singer is surrounded by shirtless hunks to break into a dance number.

Directed by Jonas Akerlund, the music video which will be premiered next month is described as "a sexy, edgy dance piece" which shows Britney at her "peak form and ability." Leading to the video premiere, she will release one new teaser each day.

"Artistically, this video, I think, surpasses a lot of her other videos," her choreographer Brian Friedman told MTV. "So many of her videos are iconic, though. You look at 'Toxic' and you look at 'Slave,' even 'Oops ... I Did It Again': People are gonna remember those videos forever. [In] ' ... Baby One More Time,' she made schoolgirl outfits relevant and so popular."

In one of the previous teasers, music videos of her old singles are featured in TV screens which are set up around Britney in one scene. "This video is artistically a masterpiece, and I don't think that Britney has pushed the envelope in this way ever in any of her videos," Brian said more.

Coming from the production hands of Max Martin and Dr. Luke, "Hold It Against Me" is the lead single from Britney's soon-to-be-released album "Femme Fatale". The CD is "a tribute to bold, empowered, confident, elusive, fun, flirty women and men" and will be released in the U.S. on March 15.

Lady GaGa Moves Premiere Date of Single 'Born This Way' to This Friday

Lady GaGa is no longer set to debut her highly-anticipated single "Born This Way" on February 13 as she has moved it forward a few days earlier. Now, the outlandish singer is scheduled to reveal the brand new song on February 11. "Can't wait any longer, single coming Friday," so she wrote on Twitter.

The single is written by GaGa and co-produced by her along with Fernando Garibay and DJ White Shadow. It is going to showcased live for the very first time at the star-studded ceremony of the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards at Staples Center in Los Angeles next week.
Last month, GaGa unveiled the song's lyrics but the verses were soon compared to a 1975 Motown track titled "I Was Born This Way" by Valentino. Both promote equality of transgender community, and it's then rumored that GaGa ripped off the classic song.

"Left you outcast, bullied, or teased rejoice and love yourself today/ 'Cause baby you were born this way," GaGa wrote for the song. "No matter gay, straight, or bi, lesbian, transgendered life/ I'm on the right track baby, I was born to survive."

The Motown track, meanwhile, features lyrics, "I'm happy, I'm carefree and I'm gay/ I was born this way/ You call me strange 'cause you don't understand/ God's role for me in life's overall plan/ I've learned to hold my head up high/ Not in scorn nor disgrace/ Doin' my thing individually."

The upcoming song will be GaGa's first offering for her May 23 studio album of the same name "Born This Way". While waiting for the song debut and the album release, fans can take a listen to a random cut of the CD which is remixed for Thierry Mugler's January 19 fashion show.

New Khloe and Kim Kardashian Steamy Ads: Unisex and Skechers

Khloe Kardashian and her socialite sister Kim Kardashian are featured in new ads, separately. The former gets steamy with her husband Lamar Odom in a new commercial ad of their unisex fragrance, Unbreakable. "There is something sexy about a couple sharing a scent. Soft yet powerful. Strong but sensual," she said.

Kim, meanwhile, hooks up with Josh Kloss in her own ad which is filmed for Skechers. Joshua is the same hot model who shared racy scenes with Katy Perry in her "Teenage Dream" music video last year. Aired during the Super Bowl XLV telecast, the new Skechers ad sees Kim dumping the 30-year-old hunk.

"I don't really know how to say this, other than just say it," sweaty Kim said while lying on the Gym floor with Josh on top of her. "You're amazing. The best I've ever had. But things just aren't working out. Well, that's not completely true. I am working out. It's not someone else. It's something else. Bye bye trainer."

Elizabeth Hurley Under Attack for Super Bowl Ad

Elizabeth Hurley has come under attack from TV viewers, who have accused the British actress/model of mocking environmental issues in a new commercial. The "Bedazzled" star appears in a tongue-in-cheek campaign for discount firm Groupon, in which she compares the loss of rainforests to a Brazilian bikini wax.

In the ad, which aired in the U.S. during the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 6,
Hurley calls Brazil's rainforest "one of nature's most lush ecosystems", before adding: "Not all deforestation is bad!" and revealing she got a half-price wax treatment with a Groupon discount.

Actors Cuba Gooding Jr. and Timothy Hutton can also be seen in Groupon's 'Save the Money' campaign, which also has spoof appeals for helping endangered whales and Tibet. Angry viewers claim Hurley's clip makes light of serious environmental matters, with one TV critic telling Britain's The Sun, "I look forward to a Groupon campaign for roadside assistance using Egypt. That'd be droll! These ads are reprehensible."

But a spokesperson for the firm has defended the promos, insisting: "(The ads are a) parody of a celebrity-narrated public service announcement-style commercial that you think is about some noble cause."

Hurley has backed up the representative, adding in a post on her Twitter.com page: "Thanks to all who like the Groupon ads and, please, lighten up detractors! I think they're v funny & v silly. Just as a joke should be....."

Cosmopolitan Defends Racy Shot of Lea Michele

"Glee" star Lea Michele has come under fire for another racy photoshoot - angry parents are fuming after the actress showed off her cleavage on the cover of Cosmopolitan. Just four months after she was criticized for posing provocatively with her "Glee" castmates in a GQ spread, Michele has sparked outrage again after appearing on the March issue of Cosmopolitan wearing a dress with a plunging neckline.
The controversial shot has infuriated readers and parents, who claim the actress should cover up since her on-screen alter ego, high school student Rachel Berry, is a role model to young viewers. Cosmopolitan editors have defended their decision to use Michele's sexy shot.

A spokesperson for the publication says, "We're thrilled to feature Lea Michele on the March cover of Cosmopolitan and think she looks stunning. Michele is a grown woman and Cosmopolitan is a magazine is for adults."

'The King's Speech' Humbled by The Queen's Approval

"The King's Speech" screenwriter David Seidler is "humbled" after learning Britain's Queen Elizabeth II likes his film - because he's waited decades to tell the compelling story. The U.K.'s beloved Queen Mother begged Seidler to wait until after her death to make a movie about her husband King George VI's battle with a stammer.

Seidler respected her wishes by delaying the project, which was released last year and has since been nominated for 12 Academy Awards and received Queen Elizabeth II's approval. Seidler admits it's "wonderfully gratifying" to hear the British monarch enjoyed his work.
He tells the Hollywood Reporter, "To learn Her Majesty has seen the film, and was moved, in turn moves and humbles me greatly. When, thirty years ago, the Queen Mother asked me to wait and not tell this story during her lifetime, because the memory of these events was still too painful, I realized the depths of the emotions involved."

"Now this story has been written and filmed with a great deal of love, admiration, and respect for Her Majesty's father. That Her Majesty has responded favorably to this is wonderfully gratifying."

New Production Date of 'The Hobbit' Announced

A new production date for "The Hobbit" has been announced on Monday, February 7. 3Foot7 Ltd states that the film will begin shooting on Monday, March 21, which is about a month later than the previously aimed February start date.

"This date has been chosen following practical considerations of the filming schedule requirements, actor availability and the NZ seasons," the
announcement says. "Shooting will take place at Stone Street Studios in Miramar and on location around New Zealand."

Director Peter Jackson adds, "Despite some delays we are fully back on track and very excited to get started." The helmer himself might become a factor in the delay since he recently underwent surgery to treat a perforated ulcer and is now in recovery after released from hospital on February 3.

"The Hobbit" will be split into two films which are going to be shot back to back. The first part is projected for December 2012 release, while "The Hobbit 2" is planned to come out in December 2013.

Martin Freeman, Ian McKellen, Richard Armitage, Cate Blanchett, Andy Serkis, Sylvester McCoy and Elijah Wood are some of the stars set to shoot the movie. Saoirse Ronan was recently said to join the cast ensemble to play Itaril, but her name is still not mentioned on the current official line-up.

Cobie Smulders Joins 'The Avengers' as S.H.I.E.L.D's Director

From "How I Met Your Mother", Cobie Smulders jumps into "The Avengers" universe. It has been reported that talks are undergoing to bring the actress to play Maria Hill, the director of the planetary defense/intelligence service S.H.I.E.L.D.

Samuel L. Jackson who plays another member of S.H.I.E.L.D, Nick Fury, confirmed last week that he would have a female sidekick in the action movie. "I gotta screen test like five actresses on Friday. They have this new character that's my sidekick or something, that's with me all the time," the actor said in an interview with
Jimmy Fallon on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon".

Moreover, director Joss Whedon had once deemed Smulders worthy to be the new Wonder Woman when he was involved in the project. This deal would attach Smulders to nine films, which is also the case for all the actors signed up for Marvel films.

Smulders is expected to slip into the character starting April when her CBS show is on a break. Disney plans to release the action movie on May 4, 2012 with Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson and Jackson in the cast ensemble.

Miley Cyrus Kissed by Joshua Bowman in the Park

Miley Cyrus and Joshua Bowman fuel rumor that they are dating. The two actors, who play together in new movie "So Undercover", are snapped getting cozy during a day out at Griffith Park in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon, February 6.

Joshua, wearing a hoodie, is all smiles as he sat on the grass, cuddling with Miley who was lying between his legs. The "LOL: Laughing Out Loud" actress was
cradling her puppy and grinning from ear to ear as she got a kiss from him on her forehead.

Miley and Joshua reportedly were inseparable during the wrap party of "So Undercover". They reportedly started hooking up when filming the movie in New Orleans, Louisiana. Although sources insisted Miley is single, the newly-obtained pictures of the park picnic seem to prove otherwise.

18-year-old Miley Cyrus previously dated her "The Last Song" co-star Liam Hemsworth as well as model Justin Gaston and was once romantically linked to teen Disney pal Nick Jonas. As for Joshua Bowman, the 22-year-old movie hunk formerly dated Amy Winehouse.

Hilary Swank Forced to Wear Unusual T-shirt After Losing Luggage

Actress Hilary Swank was forced to attend a Super Bowl fundraising event in a T-shirt she picked up at a Texas airport after losing her luggage in transit. The "Million Dollar Baby" star flew into Dallas on Saturday, February 5 ahead of a hosting gig for the Big Game Big Give bash held that night at restaurateur Phil Romano's residence in the city.

But Swank stunned attendees, including actor Owen Wilson, when she showed up in a T-shirt bearing the slogan, 'Don't Mess With Texas' - and had to explain her unusual attire, reports the New York Post's Page Six gossip column. However, the actress didn't let her wardrobe mix-up prevent her from fulfilling her

Keira Knightley Spotted Arm in Arm With New Man

Keira Knightley has sparked rumors she's found romance again after she was pictured arm-in-arm with a mystery man just weeks after her split from Rupert Friend. The actress' five-year relationship with her "Pride & Prejudice" co-star came to an end by mutual agreement shortly before Christmas.

But she's now fueled gossip about her love life by stepping out with an unidentified man in London last week. Knightley was photographed linking arms with the man as they strolled through the British capital's Chinatown district after enjoying drinks at a cocktail bar.

Knightley's father confirmed last month that Knightley and Friend have decided
to end their five-year romance and that it was mutual. "They were together for quite a long time and it is always hard breaking up. She's focused on her work," Will Knightley said.

Elton John Defends Himself for Having Child at 63

Sir Elton John anticipated criticism over his decision to welcome a baby at the age of 63 - because even he momentarily thought he was too old to become a father. The "Rocket Man" and his partner David Furnish, 48, welcomed little Zachary via a surrogate mother at Christmas.

Their decision courted controversy, but Sir Elton has brushed off the comments, insisting he's unaffected by other people's opinions. The singer/songwriter admits he expected criticism over their choice to bring a baby into the family, but reveals he has felt fully committed to fatherhood after a failed bid to adopt an orphan, Lev, from Ukraine in 2009.
He tells British morning show "Daybreak", "It crossed my mind a bit. I said to (Furnish) in the old days, 'Maybe I'm too old to have a baby', but after we saw Lev in the Ukraine and he lit that spark in me, I thought, 'I'm a young 63, lets go for it'."

"I knew I would get criticized, we would get criticized, I knew it's not everybody's cup of tea. You can't please everybody. We're not stupid people, we knew we'd get a lot of flack from certain areas and we did but we can rise above that and just bring our child up in the proper way. At the end of the day it's really nobody else's business, but people are always going to have a point of view."

Jessica Szohr Denies Dating Green Bay Packers Star Aaron Rodgers

Actress Jessica Szohr's representative has dismissed reports the "Gossip Girl" star is dating American footballer Aaron Rodgers. The brunette beauty parted ways from boyfriend Ed Westwick, her co-star on the series, last year and has remained single since the split.

However, Szohr sparked speculation she has found love with Green Bay Packers star Rodgers after they were spotted dining together and watching a sports game earlier this month. But her rep has now dismissed the rumors, telling GossipCop.com, "They are not dating."

Since breaking with Ed Westwick, Jessica Szohr has repeatedly hit with romance
rumors which she quickly brushed off. She was once rumored dating British actor Richard Reid and Leighton Meester's ex-boyfriend Sebastian Stan.

Simon Cowell Spent $2.85 Million for Super Bowl Ad of 'X Factor'

Simon Cowell spent a massive $2.85 million to promote the U.S. launch of his show "The X Factor" with a TV commercial during the Super Bowl - but he starred in it solo because his judging panel is not finalized. The music mogul was seen being digitally re-assembled from shattered fragments during the 30-second advertisement on Sunday, February 6, before facing the camera in front of the words: "He's back."

The expensive TV slot was to promote the upcoming debut of "The X Factor" in the U.S. this autumn - but Cowell had to appear in the ad on his own because he has still not decided on his fellow judges for the show, according to Britain's The Sun.
Cowell is believed to have paid $2.85 million for the primetime slot - and more than 100 million viewers tuned in. British singer Cheryl Cole, Katy Perry, Will Smith, and Jessica Simpson have all been linked to judging roles on the show, but Cowell has not confirmed the names of his fellow panel members.

'The King's Speech' Resolves Issue With Animal Rights Group

Producers of "The King's Speech" have settled a dispute with animal rights campaigners who threatened to sue over the use of the phrase 'No Animals Harmed' in the film's credits. Bosses at the American Humane Association (AHA), who have a trademark on the phrase, demanded the removal of the end-credits pledge that no animals were harmed during the shoot, as they were not involved in the production.
The public advocacy group only allows the tag to be used when officials have been given access to the set and copies of the script to certify that animals are treated well, according to the Hollywood Reporter. See-Saw Films executives have since reached out to AHA bosses to assure them animal welfare was a high priority on set, and the matter over the certification used has since "been resolved".

In a statement, See-Saw producer Emile Sherman says, "During the production of The King's Speech we did in fact have the best animal handlers on set to ensure the safety of the animals employed. As an independent U.K. production we were unaware that the phrase 'no animals were harmed' had a certification mark and any implication that the American Humane Association was involved in our U.K. production was unintentional."

"As a director of Voiceless, an animal protection organization, animal welfare is extremely important to me. We have now spoken with the AHA and resolved the issue. The treatment of animals in this film was never an issue. The only issue was inadvertent use by the producers of the AHA's certification mark, which has now been resolved."

"The King's Speech", which stars Colin Firth as stuttering monarch King George VI, is leading the 2011 Academy Awards race after landing 12 nominations.

More pictures of the Mother Monsters are available in the pictorial spread, featuring her wearing a white wet suit. There is also one photo boasting an image of her in a mess. She wears smeared make-up and tattered fishnet stockings while holding a Supreme bag with her teeth to hide her modesty.
